Rain washes out Tennessee-Georgia game, doubleheader for Sunday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(release) -- Slow and steady rain at Rocky Top has forced Tennessee and Georgia to cancel Saturday night’s game at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday with two seven-inning games beginning at 1 p.m. The first game will be televised on ESPNU with Mike Morgan and former Vol Chris Burke on the call.

Tickets for today's game will be honored for Sunday's doubleheader.
