KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(UTsport.com)-- Freshman Richard Carter was 4-for-4 with two RBIs and junior closer Nick Blount came on to hold off a late rally by East Tennessee State for his 10th save of the season as the Volunteers (22-15) snapped a five-game skid against the Buccaneers (16-19) with a 5-4 victory on Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
