MURFREESBORO, TN (WVLT) -- The Maryville Rebels have a TSSAA state basketball title to go with their stable of state football trophies.

The reigning AAAA champions in football can now be called the same in AAA basketball.

Rebels' sophomore Ryan Click hit a game-winning three-pointer as time expired during Saturday night's boys' championship game at Middle Tennessee State University. Maryville won 69-66 in double-overtime.

Rebels' guard Jordan Damron continued his impressive performance during this year's tournament, scoring a game-high 29 points.

Rebels' head coach Mark Eldgridge wins his first state championship in his first year at Maryville after coming over from Anderson County High School.
