KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- Randall Cobb has made a name for himself in his two-plus seasons playing football for Kentucky.

But before the versatile receiver/quarterback tore up the bluegrass, he dominated competition in Tennessee while quarterbacking the Alcoa Tornadoes to a pair of state titles.

Friday, the school will honor him for his accomplishments by presenting him with a jersey before Alcoa's state quarterfinal game against CAK, according to a report from the Knoxville News-Sentinel.

Cobb called the honor "humbling" in a tweet.

Cobb is a key member of a Kentucky team which is 6-5 with only a meeting with Tennessee remaining on the schedule. He was recently named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which honors the top receiver in college football.
