MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Bearden High School is one win away from its first boys basketball state championship.
Behind a game-high 27 points from Rico White, the Bulldogs (35-2) beat Siegel 68-58 Friday evening on the campus of Middle Tennessee State in the Class AAA state semifinals.
Bearden jumped out to a 21-9 first quarter lead to take control of the game from the beginning.
A day after scoring a career-high 32 points, Ty Greene chipped in 16.
Bearden will play Craigmont Saturday night at 7 pm for the state championship.
