KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Fulton High School is coming off another successful season. In 2011, the Falcons reached the state quarterfinals.
With seven starters back on offense and defense, don't be surprised if Fulton makes a deeper run this season and could even win the school's fourth state title.
Fulton will once again bring tons of speed to the field, but second year head coach Robbie Black says Fulton has more than just athletic ability this year.
"We feel like we've got some big bodies up front with some experience," Black said.
"That's not always been our strength here. We're bringing three starters back on offense as far as our offensive line goes. We did lose a couple of guys, but we have good players that are filling those shoes. Instead of just saying we're gonna have some speed, we feel like we've got some stuff up front too."
Fulton opens up the season Saturday, August 18 at Morristown East.
