OAK RIDGE (WVLT) -- The Oak Ridge Wildcats survived a close first half and pulled away in the second for a 38-17 win over archrival Clinton Thursday night at Clinton.
Oak Ridge led 10-7 at the break thanks to a late field goal. But the Wildcats outscored Clinton 28-10 in the second half to cruise to the victory.
The Wildcats avoided losing to the Dragons for the third time in a row. It would have been only the second time that had ever happened.
