ALCOA, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Under Armour will be the official provider of shoes and athletic apparel for the Aloca High School football team and coaching staff for the 2010-2012 seasons.
Aloca High School is one of only 57 high schools nationwide to be a part of Under Armour’s “Undeniable” program. Under Armour has targeted the top programs in the nation for the program, looking at wins, playoff appearances, state championships and outlook for future success.
The 3 year contract is similar to a college footwear and apparel agreement that includes customized uniforms and cleats along with all gameday apparel.
The Tornadoes have won 12 state championships in football, including the last seven.
Legendary coach Gary Rankin is in his fifth season at Alcoa, where he has posted an overall record of 71-4. Overall, Rankin's high school record is 323-61.
