MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- William Blount is looking for a new football coach.
After four seasons with the Governors, head coach David Gregory has resigned.
William Blount athletic director Mike Brewer confirmed the move Tuesday afternoon to Local 8 Sports.
Brewer said Gregory is resigning for personal reasons, saying he wants to be closer to family in Mississippi.
Gregory has already accepted a position at Vancleave High School in Mississippi, but will remain at William Blount through Christmas break.
Gregory had an overall record of 13-27 at William Blount.
