KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 5 Tennessee Lady Vol softball team (50-11) is prepping to host the NCAA Super Regionals where the squad will face-off in a best-of-three series against No. 11 Georgia for the right to advance on to the annual Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The event will kick-off on Saturday, May 26, at Noon ET live on ESPNU from the Lee Softball Stadium, while Sunday’s action is slated for broadcast live on ESPN at 1 p.m. ET and (if necessary) at 3:30 p.m. ET.

This is the Tennessee program’s fifth trip to the NCAA Super Regionals after previously advancing to the best-of-three round in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. UT holds an 8-2 all-time mark in the Super Regionals and is now 45-21 overall in NCAA Tournament action after going 4-1 in the Knoxville Regional over May 18-20.
