Lady Vols still undefeated

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The top-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols overcame a slow start to beat UCLA 82-70.

Tennessee led by just 32-31 at the half, but pulled away early in the second half and was ahead by as much as 19 points.

The Lady Vols are now 10-0 while UCLA is 4-6.

The Bruins have lost six of their last seven games.

Candace Parker had 17 points for Tennessee, 13 in the second half.

Shannon Bobbitt added 16 points; Alexis Hornbuckle had 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists; Angie Bjorklund scored 12 points, and freshman Vicki Baugh matched her career high with 11 for the Lady Volunteers.

Shannon Bobbitt…

-Eclipsed the 400-point plateau for her UT career.

-Scored in double figures for the fifth time this season and the 21st time in her career.

Candace Parker…

-Scored in double figures for the 10th time this season and the 77th time in her career.

-Moved past Daedra Charles and into sixth place in the UT record books for career free throws attempted (548).

-Made her 400th career free throw

Nicky Anosike…

-Eclipsed the 700-rebound plateau for her career, becoming the 21st Lady Vol to do so.

Angie Bjorklund…

-Remained perfect from the free throw line for the season

-Scored in double figures for the second game in a row and the fifth time this season.

Alexis Hornbuckle…

-Her three steals tonight pull her within 39 thefts of the all-time UT record.

-Scored in double figures for the third game in a row and the sixth time this season.

-Tied a season-high seven assists, giving her 410 for her career, which ranks her 10th in the UT record books.

Vicki Baugh…

-Scored in double figures for the second game in a row and the third game this season.
