(WVLT) -- In 2005, Pat Summitt's top-ranked Lady Vols visited a rabid record crowd at Rupp Arena and left 66-63 losers to the Kentucky Lady Wildcats.

Don't think for a second they've forgotten about it.

“We'll definitely remember what happened the last time we played at Kentucky," Pat Summitt said. "That was a game where they played terrific; they found a way to win."

The Lady Vols got healthy revenge last season, to the tune of an 84-62 romp at home. But when they return to the city of the crime Thursday -- albeit at Memorial Coliseum, Rupp's older, smaller sister -- they look to stake their claim to Lexington once more, tilting the lopsided 41-6 series even further towards the Big Orange.

“We’ve had some good preparation getting ready to go to Kentucky. We are looking forward to seeing how our team will respond."

Kentucky doesn't plan on being welcoming hosts to Summitt and company; the Lady 'Cats boast a 2-0 conference mark and current SEC freshman of the week Victoria Dunlap. The Brentwood, TN newcomer was 7-of-8 from the floor last week, tallying nine rebounds and a career-high four blocks.

Senior guard Samantha Mahoney leads UK in scoring, averaging nearly 15 points per game. 6'6 freshman skyscraper Sarah Elliott could provide the Lady Vols with a matchup challenge in the paint; she averages 11 points and six rebounds per outing.

Tipoff from Memorial Coliseum is at 7pm. Watch Sports Overtime at 11 for highlights and coverage.
