Hopson named Kentucky AP Boys High School Player of the Year

Louisville, KY (AP) -- McDonald's All-American Scotty Hopson is the Associated Press' Kentucky Boys High School Player of the Year.

The 6' 6" guard averaged 24 points and eleven rebounds per game this past season, helping lead the Blazers to 30-5 record and the All A Classic championship.

Hopson will sign a letter of intent to play his college basketball for the University of Tennessee on Wednesday.
