Cleveland, Ohio (WVLT) -- It has been a huge morning for Candace Parker. The star of the Lady Vols was named to the Kodak All-American Team and was selected as the The State Farm Wade Trophy player of the year. The Wade Trophy is considered the Heisman Trophy of women's college basketball.
Parker becomes the second player from the Lady Vols to win the award following Daedra Charles who was given the the honor in 1991.
