Knoxville, TN--(WVLT-TV), Former Vol great Bernard King is one of 12 finalists for the Nasmith Basketball Hall of Fame.
King was a first team All American at Tenenssee before a 15 year NBA career which included four All Star apearances and two NBA first team selections. King averaged 22 points per game in his career and nearly 35 in the 1984 playoffs. Don Nelson, Ralph Sampson, Reggie Miller and Rick Pitino are among this years other finalists. The 2012 class will be unveiled at the Final-4 in April.
