MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Blackman High School point guard Darius Thompson has committed to play at Tennessee.

Thompson made the announcement Saturday night via his Twitter account.

"I've finally made a decision! Im keeping it orange. Next year i will be a Tennessee Volunteer," Thompson tweeted.

He averaged 16.4 points, 6.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals this season, helping Blackman to a 30-1 record and a spot in the state tournament.
