Hopson to enter NBA Draft

Tennessee junior guard Scotty Hopson will forgo his senior season and enter the NBA Draft, according to GoVolsXtra.com.

KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- Tennessee junior guard Scotty Hopson will forgo his senior season and enter the NBA Draft, according to GoVolsXtra.com.

Hopson averaged 17 points per game to lead the Vols in scoring during the 2010-11 season.

He is projected by most pundits to be a second-round pick.

    What a pity that he has to leave the Vols so soon. Maybe good for Scotty but bad for the Vols. Guess Harrison and Scotty declaring for the NBA is a further fallout of Bruce Pearl's departure. Hope that Bruce lands another good job somewhere along the line or become a sports analyst doing the color.
