BRISTOL, Conn. (WVLT) -- Former Tennessee Lady Vol guard Kamiko Williams was drafted in the second round of Monday night's WNBA draft by the New York Liberty.
Williams was the 15th overall pick.
Williams helped the Lady Vols to a 27-8 record in 2012-2013. It was a team that captured the SEC regular season championship and made it to the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament.
The Clarksville, Tenn. native averaged 7.4 points per game to go along with 4.2 rebounds an outing. Williams, however, came alive late in the season to improve her stock.
