OXFORD, Miss. (WVLT) -- Tennessee jumped out to an early lead and never trailed against Ole Miss, winning 66-39 in game which ended with more than five minutes left thanks to a leaky roof.
Glory Johnson led four Lady Vols in double figures, scoring 18 points to lead Tennessee, which scored the first nine points of the game.
Officials halted play when the Tad Smith Coliseum roof began leaking, thanks to a severe storm passing through North Mississippi. Both coaches agreed it was in the best interest of both teams to end the game.
The win boosts the Lady Vols to 15-0 in the SEC. They're one win away from a perfect finish to the conference schedule.
