KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Former Tennessee men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl will receive a multiple-year show-cause penalty from the NCAA, sources tell ESPN.
Three assistant coaches, Tony Jones, Steve Forbes and Jason Shay, will get one year show-cause penalties.
The show cause penalty means another institution would have to get permission from the NCAA's Infractions Committee for the duration of the penalty.
