KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee guard Jasmine Phillips is leaving the program after one year.
Lady Vols coach Holly Warlick said Saturday that Phillips decided she wanted to go somewhere that could offer her more playing time.
Phillips, a 5-foot-10 guard, played 12 games and averaged 1.9 points and 4.8 minutes for the Lady Vols as a sophomore last season. Phillips had averaged 16.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game for Louisburg (N.C.) College in 2011-12 before transferring to Tennessee.
