KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT/SUBMITTED) -- Tennessee’s Tobias Harris was named SEC Freshman of the Week after scoring a game-high 21 points, surpassing the 20 point mark for the first time in his career while also leading the team in steals with three.
In addition to shooting .600 from the field, and .778 percent from the foul line, Harris also was a perfect 2-for-2 from 3-point range against the Blue Raiders.
His six rebounds were second-most among all Vols, and he also dished out a season-high three assists and added a blocked shot. For the season, Harris leads the Vols in scoring (16.7 ppg) while ranking second in rebounding (5.8 rpg).
