Knoxville, Tenn.--(UTSports) Tennessee announced Monday that its first men’s basketball exhibition game, set for Saturday, Nov. 2, against Florida Southern at Thompson-Boling Arena, will tipoff at 1 p.m. ET.
The Volunteers had waited to designate a tip time until the kickoff time for Tennessee’s football game at Missouri that same day had been announced. The football game will start at either 6 or 7 p.m. ET (ESPN/ESPN2).
The basketball game gives Big Orange fans their first opportunity to see the 2013-14 preseason top-25 Vols in action this season.
While the basketball contest will not be televised, a live stream will be available on UTsports.com. And as always, Bob Kesling and Bert Bertelkamp will have the call on the Vol Radio Network.
Tickets for both of UT’s exhibition games (the Vols also host Southern Indiana on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. ET) cost just $5 and can be purchased in-person at the UT Ticket Office, via phone by calling 1-800-332-8657 or online at UTtix.com.
