KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (UT Release) - Tennessee senior associate athletic trainer Chad Newman has reported that basketball player Trae Golden underwent a surgical procedure Friday morning to correct a minor nasal fracture.
The procedure took place at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
The sophomore point guard initially suffered the injury to his nose in practice Dec. 16. He should return to practice Saturday and is expected to be cleared to play in the Vols’ Jan. 2 home game against Chattanooga (7 p.m. ET, SportSouth).
