KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee forward Tobias Harris has earned his first Southeastern Conference's freshman of the week honor.
Harris led the Volunteers during the first two rounds of the NIT Season Tip-Off with 16 points and seven rebounds against Belmont on Tuesday and 15 against Missouri State the next day. The Vols travel to New York this week to participate in the tournament semifinals.
The 6-foot-8 Dix Hills, N.Y., native is also Tennessee's leading scorer so far this season with 16.3 points per game and paces the team with an average 27.3 minutes per contest.
