ATLANTA, Ga. (WVLT) -- Survive and advance! The Vols get it done in Atlanta and do indeed advance to face SEC regular season champ Florida in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday night.
Freshman Tobias Harris scored 16 first half points and finished with 20 to lead the Vols, who actually led by 16 points with 7 minutes to go. However, the Hogs went on a 16-0 run to tie the game at 68.
Tennessee senior Brian Williams, the SEC's 6th man of the year, hit the go ahead basket with just under a minute left in the game. The Vols scored the game's final six points.
The Vols improve to 19-13 on the season and face the Florida Gators Friday night at 7:30 on WVLT-TV.
