KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Baylor remains No. 1 after its closest game in two months.
The Lady Bears received 25 first-place votes Monday in the women's college basketball poll by The Associated Press. They are followed by Connecticut, Duke, Stanford and Tennessee in a top 5 that is unchanged.
Baylor edged No. 6 Texas A&M 63-60 on Sunday. Baylor had won all its other games by double digits since losing to Connecticut in November. It hosts No. 13 Oklahoma on Wednesday.
UConn had 13 first-place ballots and faces Duke on Monday night. The Blue Devils are 20-0 and the lone undefeated women's team Division I.
Marquette joined the Top 25 for the first time since the end of the 2007 season. Ohio State fell out after 126 straight weeks ranked.
