Tennessee’s Top Defender in ’07 will likely be Jonathan Hefney, named to the All-SEC PreSeason Team.

He was all over the field last season, picking-up a fumble in the Arkansas Game, leading the Team in Interceptions with Five, returning a 65-Yard Punt against South Carolina.

Hefney’s 96-Tackles were also good enough to earn him Second-Team All-SEC Honors.

Hefney will definitely be a Senior Leader and an impact player at Free Safety on the field for the Vols this season.
