TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- No. 2 Alabama has a big rival to get through before the two-week buildup to top-ranked LSU.

The Crimson Tide hosts a Tennessee team Saturday night that is seeking its first Southeastern Conference win.

If `Bama gets overconfident against the 30-point underdogs, coach Nick Saban can just bring up the Volunteers' last visit to Bryant-Denny Stadium. Two years ago, only two fourth-quarter blocked field goals kept the Tide unbeaten and on track for the national title.

Alabama rolls into this one with eight straight wins by at least 16 points and four lopsided SEC victories. Tennessee running back Tauren Poole called this "by far" the best Alabama team he has faced.

The Tide has won the past four meetings in this game traditionally played on the third Saturday in October.
