Report: Dooley to be named Cowboys' wide receivers coach

(UNDATED) -- Former Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley will be named the Dallas Cowboys new wide receivers coach, that according to an ESPN report.

Dooley coached the Volunteers from 2010-2012 before getting fired in November after a third consecutive losing season.

Dooley's overall record at Tennessee was 15-21. It was the worse three year stretch for the Vols in a hundred years.

The move reunites Dooley with Cowboys' head coach Jason Garrett. They were both a part of Nick Saban's staff with the Miami Dolphins from 2005-2006. Dooley coached tight ends during that time, while Garrett was Miami's quarterbacks coach.
