COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Da'Rick Rogers has found a new football team.
Sources close to the Tennessee Tech football program have told Local 8 Sports contributor Austin Price that Rogers has transferred to the Cookeville-based school.
Rogers took part in the Eagles' quarterback/wide receiver meetings on Sunday.
Last week, Derek Dooley suspended Rogers indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules.
The day Dooley announced the suspension, the Tennessee head coach also said that it was unlikely that Rogers would return to the team.
Rogers was an all-Southeastern Conference selection last year with 67 catches for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns.
Because Tennessee Tech plays at the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA), Rogers would be eligible to play immediately.
