Smokies battle the Suns beginning Thursday June 10th

Kodak Tenn.--(WVLT/Submitted) The fun begins on Thursday, June 10 with Thirsty Thursday, presented by Coor’s Light. Fans can take advantage of drink specials throughout the evening, including one dollar domestic draft beers and one dollar for small Pepsi products. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. in Kodak for the series opener.

Friday night , June 11 is sure to be a blast at Smokies Stadium with Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Pepsi, Coor’s Light, the Knoxville News Sentinel, WVLT and WIVK, with the skies lighting up with post-game fireworks. In addition, it’s another Free Ride Friday at the ballpark, with one lucky fan leaving with a car thanks to Rusty Wallace Honda and Kia. It’s also Daddy Daughter Date Night at the ballpark, with a special package available for just $55 for the first 100 orders, which includes two tickets, two meal vouchers, a Smokies tumbler for the daughter, a #1 Dad T-Shirt, two 47 New Era 47 Brand Baseball Caps and field access for that night’s fireworks show. That evening’s contest is slated for a 7:15 p.m. first pitch.

After staying late, fans will want to arrive early as the first 1,500 fans through the gates on Saturday, June 12 will receive a Smokies Garden Gnome thanks to U.S. Cellular, WBIR and Q100. This garden gnome with Homer the Hound’s likeness is sure to be a perfect guard dog for your garden, or just a great piece on your office desk. In addition, the Smokies will have a special postgame concert as part of our Saturday Night Concert Series headlined by the Leon Thomas Band. In addition, the Smokies will be donning special throwback jerseys replicated after the Chicago Cubs’ 1937 jerseys, which was the year the famous ivy was planted at the ballpark, in addition to the construction of the center field scoreboard. Proceeds from the auction and raffle will benefit Remote Area Medical. First pitch on Saturday evening is set for 6:15 p.m. at Smokies Stadium.

There’s nothing like baseball in the sunshine, with a Sunday matinee for game four of the series on Sunday, June 13. As part of U.S. Cellular Family FUNday, families can take advantage of a special deal for $48 dollars, which includes four tickets, four meal vouchers and two Kids Zone wristbands. Start time for this fun day in the sun is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

The homestand then wraps up with fans getting the bang for their buck on Monday, June 14, with McGhee Tyson Airport Low Fare Monday. For just one dollar each, fans can purchased hot dogs, popcorn, small Pepsi products and programs to help save their hard-earned dollars. First pitch for the series finale is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. in Kodak.
