KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- It didn't take South-Doyle's Joc Bruce very long to tell Tennessee 'yes.'
Three days after the Vols offered to be exact.
"I bleed orange. I grew up loving Tennessee and I went to all the games as a child and pictured myself here," Bruce told WVLT after his commitment.
"I'm going to play as hard as I played in high school, if not harder. I'm a competitor and I like to win. I don't like to sit on the bench, so I'm going to outwork everyone that plays my position."
As a junior, the 5'11", 185 pound Bruce ran for nearly 2,000 yards with 28 touchdowns. Most of his damage was done playing running back, but he'll have several options once at UT, including wide receiver.
Bruce also has offers from Memphis and Middle Tennessee State.
