Tee Martin in Knoxville Monday
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Local 8 Sports contributor Austin Price has learned that former Vol and current USC assistant coach Tee Martin is in Knoxville today to discuss a job offer with new head coach Butch Jones.
Martin is nearing the end of his first year on Lane Kiffin's staff at Southern California. The former Tennessee quarterback is the Trojans' wide receivers coach.
He held the same position at Kentucky from 2010-2011.
Coach Jones was asked about the possibility of bringing Martin back to Tennessee on Friday, he said, "We all understand what he's mean to to this football program. Obviously he would be an individual we would reach out too."
