SEVIERVILLE (WVLT) -- Former Tennessee and NFL defensive back Terry Fair knows that not every young football player gets an equal opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game.

So, the Vol alum decided to team up with several former teammates to create the Fair Chance Football Camp, which was held Saturday at Sevier County High School.

Dozens of young stars worked with other former Vols such as Jabari Davis, Mark Levine and Corey Larkins to hone their skills.

"If we can teach and do what we have to do and help out some of these football little leaguers, hopefully these kids can be ahead of the game," Fair said.

"It means a lot," Levine, who serves as a trainer at the Johnny Long Training Academy, said of the opportunity to work with the kids.

"Just thinking back to when I was in my childhood and being able to go through little league sports, really not having the opportunity to go to camps and different things of that nature until I reached high school, and now being able to help kids that are at an earlier age, it helps them develop earlier."
