Knoxville,Tenn. (WVLT-TV) -- One of only three coaches remaining from coach Dooley's 2011 staff, defensive back's coach Terry Joseph has confirmed for Local 8 Sports that he his leaving Knoxville and the University of Tennessee to join Bo Pelini's staff at Nebraska.
Joseph, who joined the Tennessee staff back in 2010, was recognized as one of the top recruiters in the nation this past year.
His departure leaves newcomer Derrick Ansley as the Vols only DB's coach, but it also affords coach Dooley the flexibility of adding another assistant on either side of the ball.
The 38 year old Joseph will be replacing Corey Raymond on the Cornhuskers staff. Raymond recently accepted a similar position at LSU.
