Razorbacks run past Vols, 49-7

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Dennis Johnson accounted for 140 total yards and a pair of touchdowns to help No. 8 Arkansas beat Tennessee 49-7 for its sixth consecutive victory.

The Razorbacks (9-1, 5-1 Southeastern Conference) kept alive their hopes for a second-straight BCS bowl game -- and possibly more. They also earned their seventh straight win against an SEC East opponent.

Johnson led Arkansas with 97 yards rushing, including a 71-yard touchdown run in the first half. He also had 43 yards receiving.

Jarius Wright added five catches for 94 yards, setting the school record for career receptions. Wright now has 154 catches, moving ahead of Anthony Eubanks' previous record of 153.

Rajion Neal had an 11-yard TD run for the Volunteers (4-6, 0-5).

I'm so sick of heaing these Dooley supporters saying it's not his fault, it's a young team, he needs time, or it's beacuse we lost our two best players, and then call the upset fans "not real fans" or say we know nothing about football. I'll tell you what I do know, I know the coaching is the worst I've ever seen. You can't say terrible play calling, miss-managed play clock time, timeout's, burning red shirts because your upset, and no motivation whatsoever is due to being a young team or because our two best players are hurt, I've seen it all year. Every kid on that field should be ready to come in and perform to their best abilities when they are called on and they were not ready for this season. What in the world are they doing at practices? If UT wants to have a winning program they better get ready to fork out the big bucks to buy someone away from a top school. Another no name is just going to make it worse. That big name gets you recruits. I would wave rather had Chavis as a head coach than Dooley. At least his heart is at UT, and would at least have a good defense. We all know how this is going to play out though don't we? At the end of the year some staff members will get threw under the buss to save Dooley one more year and we will see this all again next year until "special" group of alum and supporters get together and decide its time to put the pressure on, Dooley has to go! Then you will finally see a change. It can't come quick enough for me.

This is awful they can play better than this they need to be booted from their locker room and have their names taken off their jerseys. Also they need Coach Summitt to take over and coach.
