I’m a proud Cajun who’s thrilled to call the mountains of East Tennessee home!
I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La., graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in broadcast journalism.
After graduation I left Louisiana for the first time in my life, heading off to start my TV reporting career at KXII-TV in Sherman, Tex. While at KXII I broke many notable stories, including uncovering an under-staffing problem at an Oklahoma state prison - a problem that allowed a convicted murderer to escape.
I'm looking forward to covering stories like this in East Tennessee.
Growing up a die-hard LSU fan, I’m excited to be back in “SEC country.” I’m also fired-up to be back in the South. I have family that lives in Knoxville and vacationed in East Tennessee many times growing up.
When I’m not chasing down news tips and telling your stories you can find me stirring up a big pot of gumbo, practicing one of the many musical instruments I’ve picked up over the years, or catching a football (Who Dat!) or baseball game.
