My heart lies in covering high school athletics. Nothing makes me happier and fills my life with purpose more than doing a story or shooting a game on a high school team or athlete.

I came to Knoxville after spending the last 5 years in the Mountains of Southeast Kentucky at WYMT. In my time there I covered a wide variety of events, including SEC football and basketball games. I especially enjoyed covering the 2011 NAIA Basketball National Championship.

My heart lies in covering high school athletics. Nothing makes me happier and fills my life with purpose more than doing a story or shooting a game on a high school team or athlete.

I am originally from Cincinnati were I spent the first 27 years of my life, graduating from Miami University in Oxford, OH.

I very much look forward to learning what makes Knoxville so very special. And I’ve found no shortage of people willing to give me plenty of wonderful reasons to believe that.

When I’m not covering sports you can usually find me watching or playing sports. Free time is a rare commodity, so when I find any I usually try to do something different and discover new things.
