Game on Against Cancer

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT)--Your favorite East Tennessee celebrities were invited to compete in a night of fun and games at the Games and Things store in West Knoxville

In the first annual Game on Against Cancer event, Bob Yarbrough, Michele Silva and Alan Williams competed in a table tennis challenge by selected members of the community.

A $50 dollar entrance fee got you in to take part in everything from shooting pool to darts, shuffleboard, even card games.

Lisa Mellon, a cancer survivor and owner of Games and Thing said,"

"I hope it makes a big difference in alot of people's lives with the
Thompson Cares Program and the Fellowship Center."

The biggest winner of the night was Thompson Cancer Survival Center. Over $31,000 dollars was raised to help in the fight against cancer.
