Mattress Firm Foster Kids Shoe Drive

Event Dates and Times

9/21/2017 - 10/31/2017
All Mattress Firm stores in Knoxville
All 15 Mattress Firm stores in Knoxville are hosting a shoe drive to benefit local foster youth and families. Now through Tuesday, Oct. 31, during normal store hours, Mattress Firm will accept new shoes and monetary contributions to help local foster children walk with confidence. At the end of the nine-week drive, all proceeds will be donated to Youth Villages Tennessee.

Throughout the year, Mattress Firm Foster Kids, a program of the Ticket to Dream Foundation, hosts six donation drives at its Knoxville-area stores to collect items and raise funds to help thousands of local foster children. Donations from each drive are distributed to partner organizations in the community.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered program with foundations firmly established in Biblical truth. The 12 Steps with accompanying Scriptures and the 8 Principle based on the Beatitudes offer participants a clear path of salvation and discipleship; bringing hope, freedom, sobriety, healing, and the opportunity to give back one day at a time through our one and only true Higher Power, Jesus Christ. The 12 Steps and the 8 Principles work seamlessly together, tying historical recovery to timeless Biblical teaching.

We meet every Tuesday at RIO Revolution Church, 3419 East Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville, TN 37804.
Meal 6-6:45pm. Large Group 7pm. Small Groups 8pm.
