PINPOINT 8 WEATHER CENTER -- The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning, from midnight Sunday until 9 a.m. Monday.
Freezing temperatures are expected Sunday night across the region. Clear skies and a light wind will allow temperatures to drop into the lower 30s by early Monday.
It's part of a winter-like air mass that's sticking around the Southern Appalachian region.
The warning is for all of East Tennessee, and Eastern Kentucky, and stretches onto the Plateau as well.
Freezing conditions may kill crops and other sensitive vegetation that are left unprotected.
