KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Overnight storms cause power outages and other issues the area.
Several thousand people in Knox and Sevier Counties are still without power. There are scatter outages in surrounding counties.
A number of downed trees are causing traffic hazards.
One place in particular is in the Hardin Valley area.
Sevier County is reporting the possibility of standing water on some parts of highway 66.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- A number of severe weather watches are in effect for most of East Tennessee, Southern Kentucky and parts of Middle Tennessee.
A tornado watch is in effect for parts of Fentress and Cumberland counties until 2 a.m. on Friday.
A high wind warning is in effect until 10. a.m. Friday for the Smokies.
A high wind advisory is in effect for the rest of our area until 3 p.m. Friday.
And flood watches are in effect for parts of Southern Kentucky until later this morning.
