BRANSON, MO.(WVLT)- A huge storm carved an 8 mile path through Branson, Missouri Wednesday night.

A lot of the entertainment district got hit hard including theaters and hotels.

It appears to be a tornado but that's still not confirmed.

One restaurant owners said the apparent twister looked like it jumped back and forth across the street.

The Mayor says she's glad this didn't come during their busy tourist season.
