JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. (WVLT)--Carson Newman College cancels classes for Tuesday evening, October 26.

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)--Blount County Election School of Instruction for election workers has been cancelled for October 26. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow, October 27 at 7pm at the courthouse.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Knox County Election Commission training classes have been cancelled.

They have been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 27 at 6:00pm.

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WVLT)--After school programs and the Fall Fest in Lenoir City has been cancelled for October 26, 2010.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)--Greene County Emergency Management Agency has opened a pre-storm shelter.

If you don't feel your home is safe during a storm, you can seek shelter at Hal Henard Elementary School on VAnn Road in Greeneville.

HARROGATE, Tenn. (WVLT)--Day and night classes at Lincoln Memorial University are cancelled for the rest of Tuesday, October 26.

If there is anyone on campus during a tornado warning, you are urged to go to Tex Turner Arena on LMU Campus.

    thank you for show all the stormy weatherand where it is going..living in cumberland county,the weather reports are not very good..most of the time I use the internet for bad weather,the coverage for this area is not good at all..television stations for this area are limited..we just get weather out of knoxville,tn and then it is very little..so thank you for staying on and letting us know the situation...
