POWELL, Tenn. (WVLT)--The man arrested Friday for violating the sex offender registry had a list of more than 20 teenage girls that visit his home, according to Knox County Sheriff's Office.
41 year-old Jeffrey Donald Keith was arrested for hanging around Powell High School with no reason.
Police went to his home and found 6 teenage girls taking gymnastics classes in his basement.
Knox County Sheriff's Office says the only equipment he had in his basement were two tumbling mats.
Investigators also found a list of 20-25 students names who take gymnastics from him.
We knocked on his door Monday, but he didn't answer.
We talked to Keith's neighbors who wouldn't go on camera, but told us he has lived in the neighborhood for about 6 years.
Neighbors said he always has teenage girls coming and going from his home.
They also told us he has two daughters of his own.
Dan Frye, a victim's advocate, told us he's not shocked by Keith's arrest.
HOPE Board Member Dan Frye says, "They look for ways to become involved with children. The fact he's involved in gymnastics doesn't surprise me because you're looking at someone who's trying to surround themselves with kids. The fact that he was at a high school doesn't surprise me either."
Dan Frye, of Dan Frye Designs, is sponsoring a motorcycle ride called Kross Kountry Four Kids that makes a stop in Knoxville on April 6th to combat child abuse.
Officials think there may be victims in this case.
