When do we trigger a Weather Alert Day?
When the forecast is potentially dangerous, we ramp up our coverage declaring a weather alert day. This may include dangerous conditions such as fog, high winds, heavy rain, hail, ice and snow flurries, extreme heat and unseasonably cold temperatures
The weather alert could turn into severe weather if conditions worsen.
When we declare a Weather Alert Day, it's our commitment to keep you safe and give you time to prepare in advance and take action when the forecasted weather hits.
