The story peaks when the rules are bent when a male teenager accidentally becomes an Elementalist. Kamito Kazehaya gets an invitation from the Ariesha Academy, he bumps into a maiden named Claire Rouge on his way. They initially have a scuffle but later on, they get along when Kamito saves her from a sealed sword spirit. Claire is attempting to contract with this spirit but fails.
The sealed sword spirit turns against her, to save Claire’s life, Kamito contracts with the spirit which turns him into a male Elementalist.
