Vivica Fox was born in 1964 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of pharmacist Everlyena Fox and school administrator William Fox. The family moved from Benton Harbor, Michigan, shortly after she was born. As a teenager, Fox attended Arlington High School in Indianapolis. She then attended Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California, where she earned an associate’s degree in social sciences.
